Below is my list of top ten favorite films of all time. They inspire me and I highly recommend them.

1. Jaws (Steven
Spielberg) 
I loved it as a kid. It still holds up an as adult.
2. Harold And Maude (Hal
Ashby)
A comic love story about a suicidal boy and a life
affirming 80 year-old lady -- and yes, they get it on.
3. Cinema Paradiso
(Guisseppe Tornatore)
An excellent Italian film about a young boy and his life long
relationship with the small town projectionist. An Oscar winner for Best Foreign
Film.
4. My Life As A Dog
(Lasse Hallstrom)
A heartwarming foreign film about an 8 year old boy who is
sent away to live with relatives, and how he feels like an unwanted pet.
5. Play It Again
Sam (Herbert Ross)
Woody Allen wrote and stars in this romantic comedy about a
bumbling writer who uses the film Casablanca
to get women.
6. Willy Wonka And
The Chocolate Factory (Mel Stuart)
Five kids win the tour of a lifetime -- into Willy Wonka's
factory.
7. Sullivan's
Travels (Preston Sturges)
A comedy film director decides to make a drama on the
suffering man, so he dresses like a bum and lives in the street -- or he thinks. One
of the Coen Brothers favorite films too, and the inspiration for their new film "Oh
Brother, Where Art Thou?".
8. One Flew Over
the Cuckoo's Nest (Milos Forman)
Jack Nicholson plays crazy to get an easier sentence in a
mental institution. There he realizes that it's even harder than prison.
9. Doctor Zhivago
(David Lean)
Forget Titanic,
this epic love story set during the Russian revolution has more onscreen chemistry than
any love story you'll ever see. .
10. A Face In The
Crowd (Elia Kazan)
After a convict (Andy Griffith) goes on a popular radio show,
he becomes one of Americas most trusted, beloved celebrities.
